Hi there! I'm so happy you're here! My name is Ellie Batts, and I've been shooting photos since about 2018. I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and now am based in Grand Rapids, where I attend Calvin University. Graduating in May of 2026 with Marketing & Entrepreneurship majors, I can't wait to see where the Lord takes me in my photography journey!

One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my loved ones. My family has supported me & my business for as long as I can remember. My fiance has been one of my greatest cheerleaders, and I am so excited for our upcoming wedding in October 2026!

I absolutely LOVE to spend time with my friends (a few of them pictured above & below), take a trip to the beach, go shopping, go out to dinner, spend time at coffee shops, go on walks, and exercise!
My approach
a focus on warm and golden tones
I’ve always been drawn to the way golden, natural light brings a scene to life. There’s something about sunlight that feels magical - it softens everything, adds warmth, and turns ordinary moments into something timeless. For me, every photo is a chance to slow down and notice the beauty that’s often missed, those little details that shine when the light is just right!!
